Developed by The Howard Hughes Corp., and named for the late Howard Hughes’ grandmother, Summerlin is a 22,500-acre master-planned community that began to take shape in 1990. During the past two decades it has been ranked in the country's top 10 best-selling master-planned communities by several national and regional studies. Home to more than 150 neighborhood and village parks, 150 miles of community trails, nine golf courses, a variety of retail outlets, medical and cultural facilities, business
